چکیده

Globally, soybeans are grown to meet the needs for animal and human nutrition, oil extraction, use in multiple industrial applications. Decades of soybean research, innovative farming methods, higher yielding resistant seed varieties have led increased crop yields. producers utilized enhanced processing methods produce nutritious high-quality meal extracted feed within food industry. Soybeans contain highly digestible proteins processed using various mechanical chemical techniques high quality ingredients. Defatted (DSM) is usually prepared by solvent extraction process soybeans, whereby almost all content removed. When not extracted, full-fat (FFSBM) created. This form provides an excellent source dietary energy retaining lipid component very useful feeds reducing need adding exogeneous lipids. However, some anti-nutritional factors (ANF) present FFSBM if properly heat treated before inclusion finished feed. These ANF adversely affect internal organ function overall growth performance animal. Among these ANF, protease inhibitors most important, but can be readily destroyed with optimal thermal processing. protocols followed precisely, excessive treatment may occur, resulting both reduced protein amino acid bioavailability meal. Conversely, insufficient result retention Thermally greatly bean when enzyme supplementation included approach cost-effective commonly commercially. After processing, often measured vitro performed at commercial analytical laboratories assess nitrogen solubility index (NSI), dispersibility (PDI), urease activity (UA), potassium hydroxide. Once processed, or DSM optimally diets poultry aquaculture enhance economic viability, production performance, nutritional value meat and/or eggs produced.

Harvest and Post-harvest Operations

Harvest and post-harvest operations constitute principal constraints to rice production, especially in irrigated systems, because of the larger yield that has to be handled. Post-harvest crop losses of up to 35% have been reported and attributed to inefficiency of manual threshing of rice by small-scale farmers. This leads to poor grain quality and rejection of locally produced rice. The Africa...

harvest center's Post-Polio Library

To test the hypothesis that fatigue and fainting occur together, 1,047 polio survivors and 419 non-disabled control subjects were asked about the frequency and cause of fainting and asked to rate their typical daily fatigue severity. Fatigue severity was significantly higher in polio survivors as compared to controls, and in both polio survivors and controls who had fainted, as compared to thos...

Automatic Grading of the Post-Harvest Fruit: A Review

Mechanical fruit grading and automatic fruit grading have been detailed in this paper. The studies and applications of mechanical fruit grading, and computer visual and automatic fruit grading were also particularized. Computer vision technology for detecting fruit size, color, bruise and surface defects and evaluation of fruit overall quality were discussed. The primary problems and developmen...

Post Harvest Discoloration of Dark-Fleshed Fish Muscle: A Review

Discoloration of dark-fleshed fish species during storage and processing was mainly due to the reaction of myoglobin, a monomeric globular heme protein contributed to the pigmentation of red meat fish, alone and with other muscle components. Metmyoglobin formation caused by the autooxidation of myoglobin was a major factor influencing the darkening of dark-fleshed fish meat during iced and froz...

Banana Peel Physiological Post-Harvest Disorders: A Review

Bananas are cultivated in more than 120 countries and on the five continents in tropical and subtropical areas [7]. Bananas production is the fourth most significant of the world in terms of tonnage, after rice, wheat and maize. In 2013, world production was estimated at more than 106 million tons, of which 2 million produced in Caribbean [8]. However, only a small part is produced for commerci...
